Have a Neighborhood Block Party: The Fourth of July is an excellent time to gather the neighborhood, turn on some music and fire up the grill. Ask neighbors to bring their favorite dish and get to know each other! Set out lawn chairs, provide sparklers for kids, and coolers full of cold drinks for adults. Head to the Beach Party:  On July 4th, award-winning Blue Wave beach is hosting an all-day celebration, offering games and music for everyone. From 2-10 p.m. you can participate in a variety of beach games, lounge under an umbrella or play on the splash pad at nearby Charnow Park. Be sure to stick around for the off-shore fireworks display that begins at 9 p.m.
