This November 28, celebrate Giving Tuesday. This global initiative to promote charitable giving across the world is now in its sixth year, and it’s a cause near and dear to our hearts. Al’s Florist is dedicated year round to supporting our local Boys & Girls Club, one of the most deserving programs in our community.

The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe haven for kids after school and during the summer. They offer meals, tutoring, games, sports and more, giving over 400 kids a day a secure, consistent and comforting environment in which to thrive. Together, we host a health fair each year before school to ensure that every child receives vaccinations and has a health exam. Recently, we held our Hollywood Welcomes The Stars fundraiser, earning more than $130,000 for the club.

For the holidays, we hold a party for the teens, which we’ve been doing for 20 years in an effort to make sure there’s always something special and seasonal for the older set. We create a Winter Wonderland complete with Santa and gifts, ensuring that every child, big or small, is thought of.
