Flowering Plants For Easter

Easter is just a week away, and we here at Al’s Florist are thrilled to be steeped in the season’s blooms and baskets. The latter are practically synonymous with Easter—along with chocolate bunnies, Peeps and dyed eggs—but we’re inclined to fill them with s or ing plants. The result is an appealingly fresh gift or piece of decor for spring.

There are some classic spring plants that when you introduce them into your home, office or porch, it feels like an instant arrival into the season. One of those is the azalea, a gorgeous pink that blooms for several weeks and is one of the hardiest of the spring crop. Our Azalea Plant arrives in a basket, a homey, comforting vessel that looks perfect no matter where you put it.

You can use an azalea as a part of your Easter dinner look, planting it in the center of the table or clustering several at the front door, on the patio or even in the dining area itself. Put the Easter baskets loaded with sweets on either side for a Pinterest-worthy holiday pic, or give one as a gift to your holiday host.
