The Roses You Give To Your Besties

If you want to celebrate National Best Friend’s Day right—and we hope you do—you’ll give or send (and hopefully receive!) s. Yes, we’re biased here at Al’s Florist, but that’s only because we know how much s are appreciated when they are offered in celebration of friendship. They strike just the perfect note, since they always feel special. They can be customized to reflect the tastes and preferences of your friend. They’re beautiful. And they smell great, too.

There’s something else that s can do that other gifts cannot, and that is speak for you. These beauties we grow in our gardens and greenhouses have an entire language and lore behind them, one that has existed since ancient times. We still use s to convey messages today, choosing certain varieties and colors to communicate our feelings of ardor, admiration, hope, sympathy, congratulations and friendship. In fact, ourĀ Dozen Yellow RosesĀ  are a prime example of using s as a means of expressing how we feel, since they have long stood for companionship, the friendship bond and loyalty. If you want to give your bestie something truly symbolic this Best Friend’s Day, give her these.

Make this Best Friend’s Day count and offer your bestie the brightest, most communicative of blooms.
